We can now be found on facebook, ning and myspace.

And apparently we are also on twitter. Tweet!

“Racing is life, everything else is just waiting”

It’s now training time as the dust from Series 2 settles in the quarry.
Series 1 and 2 were a great success, with the well over 230 riders racing in each series. If someone had told us that we would have all the 7 events across the year dry we would not have believed them, but it happened!! We also managed to get space for the kids, and women's racing is taking off with strong competitive fields. Its not just for the locals – some riders travelled from as far a field as Edinburgh and Herefordshire to compete. We even made it into this August’s MBUK (page 194-5 or download the pdf) for Series 1. The last race had 134 riders on the start line, so we are very pleased that all the effort is paying off.

What’s going to happen in 2010?
We will be running the XC series again and we have started talking to our sponsors to ensure the same fantastic support and prizes.

We also have plans for a downhill “lite” format and are waiting on funding applications for the equipment We will be operating the same simple format and the emphasis on quality competition for all, with “normal” levels of ability and opportunities for the “roughriderz”.

Check out the site and register with us for updates and keep coming back to see what we add in our blog. The race dates will be out in early 2010 so make sure you register to ensure you get the dates first!
