One gear to rule them all!
Calling all singlespeeders, your chance to demonstrate the superiority of the single gear.
Charlie the Bikemonger has offered up a trophy (expertly modelled by Voodoo, chest rug model's own) to the fastest Racer, Weekend Warrior or Racing Diva on a singlespeed bike. Run in parallel to the main categories it is to reward the rider who can crush the inferior geared bikes into the quarry rock and show the truth and simplicity of singlespeed to be all dominating!
All you need to do is say "I'm a singlespeeder" at registration and at once you will be treated with deference and respect, you will get a special identification for your number board and priority on the gridding at the start. Your race will pass in a blur as your winged shoes dance on the pedals though the maze of quarry trails. Fly past the dullards on their geared abominations, zoom through the trails as a shining example to all, and at the end in your own special ceremony you could crowned king and queen of the singlespeeds and rule over all!!!!!
Remember......there can only be ONE gear.
